Cancun Trip Report: Day 4, Tulum Part 3

Day 4

After we were done at Tulum, we drove back towards Cancun, and at yes, Cancun for Dummies’ recommendation, we stopped by the Xel-Ha (pronounced Shell-ha) ruins. Yes, they have ruins which are near the Xel-Ha “natural” amusement park. We were the only ones there – and we had a lot of fun climbing on the ruins and checking out the frescos. Truth to tell, I think we enjoyed it more than Talum. If you go WEAR BUG SPRAY!! We got eaten alive.

For dinner we went back to our favorite El Pescador. This time ordering the red snapper with lime and garlic and the grouper with seafood again. The fish with lime and garlic was the best thing I’d ever tasted! Since the shrimp anyway. Oh, it was so good! The grouper was good too, but there didn’t seem to be any shrimp in it this time and it wasn’t as buttery. The salsa at El Pescador was the best stuff too.
