Spain trip report: Barcelona, Day 2, Evening

So when we got back from Monserrat, we headed to the hotel for a rest.

I really liked our hotel, but I did not care for the bathroom. Instead of a closing door, it had a sliding door… that did not sit flush. There was like a 1″ gap between the door and the door frame.

I even took a picture where you can clearly see that it does not really maximize your privacy.

We decided to try a Catalan restaurant, Café de l’Acadèmia. That turned out to be a great idea.

It wasn’t too hard to find with a map, but the streets can be confusing!

We walked through a plaza with some government buildins:

The restaurant had outdoor tables in this little plaza that backed a church.

I had another clara to drink. And went through a plate of olives.

We split the bouillabaisse for an appetizer. It was *so* good.

We both had the Fideua for dinner – a Catalan noodle dish with seafood in it. It was SO good.

We tried two different desserts. This is the only picture I have of them.
