Our Disney trip

Here’s a little overview of my Disney vacation! I have lots of photos, but here are a few I liked!

We stayed our first night in New Smyrna beach, just because we like it so much there. It’s where we go in June.

We stayed in a hotel on the beach that had a great view.

Here it is at night:

Also, I did this:

And the view from our balcony the next morning:

Now, down to the beach:

And what our hotel looked like:

The beach was coated with seaweed and these little beauties:

That’s right, Portuguese Man O’Wars. I’ve only ever seen one before. And there were hundreds and hundreds of them! All over the beach. So glad we weren’t intending to swim – but it was impossible to walk on the beach really. Between the high tide, seaweed and jellyfish… (though they’re not strickly jellyfish)

Next we headed from the hotel to our favorite little bakery for breakfast pastries:

Then we went to the condo we go to every year to check it out in winter. Here’s the pool:

Oh, look, more Portuguese Man O’ Wars! And this is miles down the beach from the hotel!

We went to Fish Camp for lunch – our favorite seafood dive.

The deer that wears boardshorts was very festive:

After lunch, we went to look for manatees. We spotted some, but they weren’t easy to photograph:

Next up, Disney!
