What I’ve Been Up To – October, Part 3

Yep, you get a part 3!

Here’s some more cat:

Jasmin, my intern for the week, sent me a present! Wrapped in cupcake paper! Because we had a running cupcake joke after we traumatized her with cupcakes and a Nobel Laureate:

Look at the awesome stuff she sent me!

Our anniversary dinner at Christophers ended with this excellent bread pudding:

I did some closet cleaning and pulled out my old Space Camp jacket:

What was in the pockets? Stuff from high school. Jamboree was a sort of night of skits that the parents put on to raise money for scholarships. (I got one of them. They’d give most? of the kids a couple thousands bucks towards college. It helped.)
IMG_3795

And a fake $10 bill? I don’t know.
IMG_3796

I think this was my friend’s family names for me to look for on the Statue of Liberty trip. There’s a wall with names on it.
IMG_3797

And this:
IMG_3798

Also my band jacket:

In the pockets – three patches I had not yet sewn on, a box of Facebook mints (??? FB didn’t exist back then and it’s not like I wear this jacket, so I don’ t know), my dot book (of drill chart positions), and lyrics from Candide, which is one of the shows we did.
IMG_3803

Also these. My mom would never let me put money in those charm machines at the grocery store, so when I was in high school, I went through a phase where every time I passed one, I had to put a quarter in it.
IMG_3804

My mom sent me this pic of her in a pottery class:

I met up with my oldest friend (we’ve known each other since she was 6 months old and I was a year and a half) at Eastern Market for Thai and Sweet Lobby cupcakes. It was rainy fall night and quite pretty the way the streetlights lit up the damp pavement and leaves.

Mike got this celery at the farmer’s market at work. I think it’s the biggest celery I have ever seen!
