Disney Food & Wine, Day 3

Day three at Disney found us at Magic Kingdom in the morning. Did I mention I really like Halloween?

The hall of presidents had a new replica first lady gown. This is a circa 1810 silk velvet replica of a Dolley Madison gown. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a gown like this is silk velvet? Interesting!

There was a huge line waiting for filet at Canada, which we didn’t realize when we ordered. We did get the cheddar cheese soup and pretzel roll when we ordered, which was awesome, and eventually the filet was available. Totally worth the wait. We scarfed it, so no picture.

We didn’t have room in our stomachs for all of Morocco’s selections, but we did have the Spicy Hummus Fries with Cucumber, Tomato, Onions and Tzatziki Sauce

Ah, Epcot Norway! <3 I stopped into the gift shop to practice my Norwegian and ended up buying a print. I did pretty well this time. I feel like I’ve improved enough to be able to a conversation. We also bought a schoolbread (ordered in Norwegian of course) because they are delicious. Here’s Doug at the new Sommerhaus (why is it haus instead of hus??) - next time I’ll have to go in because there were decorations I’d like to see. Here’s Doug in front: IMG_5377

We were exhausted after this, so we headed back to the hotel for the night and totally crashed.
