Cherry Blossoms

Now that the leaves are coming off the trees, let’s head back to when they were just starting to bloom – March – and the cherry blossoms in DC, which we make an effort to try to see yearly.

We didn’t hit it on a great day – I normally like a nice blue sky to see the cherry blossoms, but sometimes we take what we can get, and this was kinda of it. Still pretty though!

I feel like I take a lot of the same pics every year. But I do love the cherry blossoms, so it is what it is!

The FDR memorial is also a great place for poke hunting – and so here is a picture of a Flaafy with the cherry blossoms. Right before he ran. Sigh.

We also managed to catch the actual cherry blossom festival. And we got food – we were super starving so these chicken kabobs and fries were actually delicious.
