Disney Flower & Garden Day 4 (April 2017)

We’d had a bad breakfast at Cape May Cafe, but we’d passed Trattoria Al Forno and seen that they had an interesting looking breakfast (Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast) – . We took a chance on it. It was also a character breakfast but the food was OMG good and not a crappy buffet. Highly recommend. The characters were Ariel and Rapunzel (And Prince Eric and Flynn). The food was definitely inspired by those characters which was fun! There was SO much food, we ended up taking this giant pastry basket home with us. It actually traveled well and we eventually ate it all!

Breakfast also came with a choice of yogurt parfait or fruit. We got one of each. They each had little themed pastry touches.

Doug got this breakfast calzone, which was amazing. It came with this trident, which they remove for you after you take a picture!

I got this polenta and egg and house-made sausage dish, which was also phenomenal. The portions were so big we couldn’t hope to put a dent into it, which was a shame because it was amazing.

We spent the rest of the day at Universal to see Diagonalley – and then we hit Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner. Love that restaurant! Diagonalley pics in another post.
