On our fourth day, we started the day with a little Moana.

Then we got dressed and hung out with Auntie Jasmin:

And then we headed to nearby… Bletchley Park!

Bletchley Park is, of course, the secret complex where British WWII codebreaking took place. Alan Turing was one of the main geniuses behind so much of it and then he was thanked after the war by being persecuted for being gay. Nothing about what happened to him as a result was fair or just or good, and we prematurely lost a genius mind because of it. Well done.

A formal apology was eventually written by the Prime Minister, though in 2009, well after his death.

The mansion:

Inside the mansion:

Poor honey, we tired her out!

After Bletchley Park, we headed for Leavesdon studio for the Harry Potter studio tour! Something I’ve been wanting to do forever. Our entry was for about 4:30 and the timing worked out just great!

Stay tuned for all things Harry Potter.
