ARTECHOUSE did a show called “Infinite Space” and since it was space related, my co-workers had an outing to go see it after a work meeting in DC in July. ARTECHOUSE has giant screens and a mirror floor as well as some other spaces, and has some interesting light and sound installations, often created by processing some sort of data.
The main screen ran several dizzying displays:

Here’s another video using satellite imagery:

Next you could walk down a mirrored hallway (which was disorienting) and then there were little alcoves with mirrors and some sort of imagery.

We got a page that it was time for our turn in this small mirrored meditation room that only 4 people could fit in. The mirrors were on the walls, floor, and ceiling!

After we were done, we went back to check out more of the little mirrored cubicles. You had to wear booties on your shoes to protect the floors.

In the mirrored hallway:

Then we hit the bar, which has a nice view of the main display. You can see all the beanbag chairs where you could hang out to watch the display from. And to the right, the black rectangle is the door to the small mirrored room.

Laura and I getting some drinks!

Here was mine, called the Bospherus.

They have a VR app, and this is what the drink looked like:

And one last video of I guess one of the coasters – this matches the theme of the very first visualization I posted at the top.
