Wine Country Wild Berry Cobbler

We bought another (non Food & Wine) cookbook at Disney and Doug made this berry cobbler (with drop biscuit top) and it was AMAZING. The biscuits were a little sweet and just perfect. So good. Recipe: Here it was before it went into the oven: Doug starting out the day:

More Disney Food and Wine Recipes

I did a blog post with a bunch of these in one place. Here is our next batch. I’ve included links to online recipes where available. The others are in Disney Food & Wine cookbooks. Beef Mrouzia with Couscous, Morocco Pavilion, Restaurant Marrakesh Warm Chocolate Lava Cake with Baileys Ganache from Ireland. We had to make a few adjustments. We … Continue Reading →

Slow Cooker Barbacoa-Style Beef Tacos

So it felt like a sign that we should try it! The Try the World box came with a kit like this: It had nearly everything we needed. The Food … Continue Reading →

Disney Food and Wine recipes

Doug and  I have become big fans of Disney’s Food & Wine festival. They sell cookbooks with some of the recipes – and we’ve bought all of them – so we decided to try to get through as many of the recipes as we could. Many of them are out of our comfort zones, so we figured it’d be good. … Continue Reading →

I blame Katherine, really – but how was I supposed to resist day after day of gorgeous macaron posts? So I decided to give them a try. Here are my notes: 1) Attempt #1 at making chocolate macarons, this recipe: It was easy to measure everything out but the easiest thing to do it with is a little kitchen … Continue Reading →
