The Disney Princess Half Marathon trip – Monday/Tuesday

Monday nearly everyone took off for home. Meredith, Kayli, Doug and I headed for the Magic Kingdom since we hadn’t spent much time there yet.

The Disney Princess Half Marathon trip – Saturday/Sunday

Saturday morning, Doug and I had breakfast at Captain Cook’s – we were tired, so we took it a bit easy in the morning. Yay, Mickey waffles! And these were really big ones!

Disney Princess Half Marathon – Thurs/Fri

Since my friend Meredith would be running the half marathon, and I’d be in charge of getting her three year old around to see her mother run, this year we opted to stay not only on Disney property, but at the Polynesian, so we’d be nice and close to the 4 and 8 mile markers. Meredith also got a great … Continue Reading →

Our Disney Trip, Part 8

Ok, last Disney post! Our last day there, we didn’t have too much time, so we just hung out at Epcot. Which ended up being quite crowded, so we also didn’t get on any rides. (Even Spaceship Earth had lines!) But it was a gorgeous day so wandering around was fine too! We had to sadly check out of our … Continue Reading →

Our Disney trip, part 3

Saturday morning it was hard to find somewhere to find breakfast. We eventually walked over the Boardwalk and got great egg and cheese croissant sandwiches.

Our Disney Trip, part 2

We headed to Disney and checked in at the Yacht Club. They had a discounted rate and we decided to splurge on a nice hotel. And it was very nice! Our first room had two full sized beds. We hadn’t been asked about getting a king and I guess I just assumed… Anyway, I called the front desk and they … Continue Reading →

Our Disney trip

Here’s a little overview of my Disney vacation! I have lots of photos, but here are a few I liked! We stayed our first night in New Smyrna beach, just because we like it so much there. It’s where we go in June. We stayed in a hotel on the beach that had a great view. Here it is at … Continue Reading →

Southern California: Disneyland!

Doug was out in CA for back-to-back conferences, so I went out the weekend between them. I had a late flight on Thursday night – and saw this lovely sunset:
