Chihuly exhibit

So, this weekend, we went to Pittsburgh to see the Chihuly glass exhibit at the Phipps Conservatory. Chihuly and his studio create these amazing glass art shapes that are very naturalistic. The first was the only one I was able to get in focus. I only was able to take 3 pics before he flew away, which kind of sucked. But I played with the two out of focus ones in photoshop, and I kind of like how the pictures look.


Saturday, Doug and I went to see the King Tut exhibit at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. It was good, but I thought they focuses too much on pre-Tut artifacts. Baby bird

Here’s a baby bird, nearly grown – we had two of them in a nest in our bush. Doug found them when he was trimming the overgrown bush – the poor thing was terrified! But he was ok.
