Fall Family Pics

I really wanted to do a fall photo shoot with Elena, and since Stephanie takes such beautiful photos of Elena, I wanted to work with her. We managed to find a morning time that work, and even though I stressed about having us all ready and presentable for a camera, it worked out great, and the weather was beautiful. Stephanie … Continue Reading →

Pumpkin Patch (October)

Pumpkin Patch (October)

In October, we did our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch – last year Elena was just a baby – this year she was a toddler with her own mind, which made it a little hard to get posed pics. But what I ended up getting turned out cute! Here are some of my fav pics from our afternoon! She … Continue Reading →

Corn Maze (October)

What I Was Up To – November 2018

So I’m only 3 months behind (!) on my “what I was up to” posts, and significantly more behind on specific posts about travel and other big stuff. So I thought I would tick off November, while we’re in the midst of our Aug/Sept England trip. November 1, and my fav tree is looking pretty sharp. After living in Maryland … Continue Reading →

What I Was Up To – September 2018

Moving on to September, I feel like we’re dangerously close to actually catching up! Freshly back from our trip to England, we had Stephanie babysit for us, while Doug and I checked out First Aid Kit (prob my fav band right now) at the Anthem, a newish venue in DC. It’s totally hipster (you can get lattes) and I am … Continue Reading →

What I’ve Been Up To – October, part 2

All right, we have a lot of ground to cover so here we go back into October. (And I do this so I can remember what the heck I’ve spent my life on, so please humor me!) Here’s Willow doing her thing where she likes to lay on our clothes: So we were out for an evening walk and saw … Continue Reading →

Pumpkin Patch again

We went back to the pumpkin patch a second time to actually get pumpkins (rather than to look for butterflies with friends) (cause that is a thing we do apparently):

What I’ve Been Up to – November

Sorry to be Posty McPosts-a-lot but I have been so busy and I’ve got a little break now, so I want to get things updated before the New Year. We’ll see if that happens. Ok, so November. Here’s my fav tree from a different angle than I normally catch it at: Doug and I spent an afternoon playing D&D with … Continue Reading →
